ChipReaders for breeders
Register the litter in your name and transfer each animal with a code. The buyer then puts it in their own name.
You register the animals from a litter in your own account, with microchip number, date of birth and the details you already have. When an animal leaves, you create a transfer code and give it to the buyer. They use it to put the animal in their own name, with their own phone number, and that is exactly what a finder needs later.

1
Create an account
Register as a business. In your dashboard you keep track of the animals you have registered, also after they have been transferred.

2
Register the animals from the litter
For each animal enter the microchip number, the species, the breed, the date of birth and the characteristics. A photo helps later in case of a disappearance. If you do not know the microchip number yet, you can register the animal without it and add the number later.

3
Create a transfer code per animal
For each animal you create a transfer code. You hand it to the buyer, on paper or through a shareable link with a button for WhatsApp and email. The code stays valid until it is used.

4
The buyer puts the animal in their name
The buyer enters the code, creates an account and fills in their own details. After that the animal is in their name and you are no longer responsible for it. The buyer pays the one-off registration fee.
Why transferring beats leaving it in your name
An animal that stays in the kennel name produces your phone number in case of a disappearance instead of the owner one. That is awkward for you and useless for the owner, certainly years later.
With a transfer code the animal moves over without you having to pass on the buyer details, and the buyer maintains their own registration.
What you keep seeing
Your dashboard keeps showing which animals you registered and which have been transferred. Handy for your own records and for questions from buyers about the origin of an animal.
The buyer details are not visible to you; those belong with them.
